Dell's Mininote, Inspiron Mini 9

11 November 2008 by John Curran

Yesterday I mentioned that I was toying with the idea of buying an extra small laptop for those times when I want to travel really light. Well I just saw that Dell now have a notebook in this space - the Inspiron Mini 9 (that's 9 for the 9 inch display). It's a bit more expensive than the ASUS or Acer models but looks pretty good and can be shipped with either Linux (with Ubuntu) or Windows XP. Windows obviously ups the price a bit. Would be interesting to see how such a device would fit into my mobile device quiver. I feel an additional purchse coming on...or has my life already got enough productivity gadgets in it? ;-)
